Bill Laitinen, MD

Principal Investigator

Bill Laitinen, MD a Board Certified Family Physician offering comprehensive primary care through the community health center system as well as hospital-based care. He attended the University of Minnesota Medical School earning his Doctorate of Medicine in 2004 and completed his training at the Family Medicine Residency of Idaho, becoming Board Certified in Family Medicine in 2007. Dr. Laitinen takes pride working with ASR, LLC as clinical research allows patients access to new options not yet available to the general public as well as access to those that are but need to be FDA approved for other indications.

Lauren Hanlon, DO

Principal Investigator, Sub-Investigator

Lauren Hanlon, DO is a Board Certified Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and Family Medicine. Dr. Hanlon graduated from medical school at Pacific Northwest University in Yakima, Washington and finished her Family Medicine residency with Full Circle Health in Caldwell, Idaho. Dr. Hanlon opened her own private practice, Flow Osteopathy and Wellness, and is excited to offer a different approach to helping patients achieve a better quality of life in conjunction with the work she does with ASR, LLC.

Jillian Vaughan, FNP-C

I am a nurse practitioner with an interest in Women’s care and functional medicine. I love getting to know and learning from each individual we see in the clinic. Outside of work I enjoy teaching yoga, traveling, and spending time with my family.

Jennifer Poralla

ASR, LLC – Site Director

I am the Site Director of ASR, LLC. The highlight of my job is having the opportunity to meet so many amazing people and enhance their health and well-being through advanced scientific discoveries of new medicine’s and devices. Outside of work I enjoy working out, spending time outdoors, and driving my Mustang.

Savanna Poralla

Manager, Regulatory Specialist

I have a deep passion for making the world a better place one day at a time. It is an amazing opportunity to work in clinical research and give people the chance to live a healthier and/ or more comfortable lifestyle through new medications, vaccines and devices. If I am not in the office, I am typically in the gym, out enjoying nature or at home with my Golden Retriever, cat, and house plant sanctuary.

Olivia McMurran

Human Resources and Marketing Manager

I graduated from Boise State with my degree in psychology! I am passionate about people, so being connected to a local company that conducts clinical research to improve overall health and wellbeing is awesome. I love spending time with my family and friends. When I’m not working, you will find us playing board games, cards, Magic the Gathering, going to karaoke and trivia, and eating at the best local restaurants in Boise.

Kimberlee Fransen

Clinical Research Coordinator

Since I was young, I knew that I wanted to help people. I became a certified medical assistant at the age of 20 and have been working in a variety of medical clinics since. Research has been an interest of mine and the opportunity to join Advanced Specialty Research presented itself, I knew that I would enjoy the chance to help patients by offering the latest and greatest in medicine and medical devices. Being part of research and development has been a goal and passion of mine. Outside of work, I love to hang out with my family, bake, cook, and do outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, and fishing.

Jadyn Sutton

Clinical Research Coordinator

I graduated from CWI with an Associates in applied sciences in 2018 and entered NNU’s psychology program. I always knew I wanted to do something with my life that gave me the opportunity to help to those in need. After working at the state mental hospital for adolescents the past two years, I decided to stretch my capabilities and could not be more excited to be a part of the ASR team. Outside of work you can find me golfing, doing pottery, camping, snowboarding, hanging out with my friends/family, and rock climbing! 

Jamie Ross

Clinical Research Coordinator

I have spent the last 16 years in the healthcare field in one aspect or another. i graduated with my LPN in 2020, and have been working as a nurse since then. I decided to make the change to research in hopes of helping more people. When I am not working, I have 7 kiddos who keep me on my toes. Being an Idaho girl, I do love my time away in the mountains camping, fishing, and shooting.

My family is a huge, fun hodge-podge of mixed medical professionals. I knew from a young age that I would work in the medical field. Upon arrival in the States from Northern Canada, I began teaching medical courses at a private vocational college. After 7.5 years there, CWI decided to snatch me up. I have learned and grown so much from teaching college for over a decade. I have been in the medical field for close to 14 years now! I am beyond excited to be part of such an amazing, dynamic research team dedicated to improving the quality of life for others.

Madison Ross

Data Entry Specialist

I am a 2nd year college student working towards a bachelor’s degree in biology. I have 3 cats and 3 1/2 dogs (the Chihuahua doesn’t count as a whole dog). I also want to eventually own a truck that has a slightly bigger lift than my dad’s truck.

I am the recruitment specialist for ASR, LLC. It’s rewarding to me when participant’s find a trial that they qualify for and are able to better their life. When I am not in the office, you will find me at the gym. I am passionate about fitness and constantly making new goals to achieve.
